FAQs
How much does Telehealth cost?
Telehealth visits are priced the same as traditional in-person visits. Please check with your medical insurance to see if your plan covers Telehealth visits.
Can my provider order labs during a Telehealth appointment?
Yes, your healthcare provider may order laboratory tests during a Telehealth consultation. In this case, please visit the clinic as soon as possible following your telehealth visit to complete your labs.
Please note the following:
-
Self-Pay Patients: You are required to complete the laboratory tests at the clinic within 5 business days at no additional cost.
-
Insured Patients: You may schedule your laboratory tests beyond the 5 business days if your insurance plan permits. We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm any specific requirements or coverage details.
Can I schedule a Telehealth appointment if I am a new Mountainlands patient?
New patients are generally not scheduled for Telehealth appointments, with some exceptions. Please consult a receptionist to determine if Telehealth is a suitable option for your initial visit.
How long does a Telehealth appointment take?
Telehealth appointments typically take the same amount of time as in-person visits and follow a similar process: check-in, meeting with a medical assistant, and a consultation with your medical provider. Our dedicated team is committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive care, whether you connect with us in person or virtually.
To make the most of your telehealth appointment, please schedule it with sufficient time to complete all necessary parts of your visit.
